Block-Finder
Block-Finder is a web based client that queries information on the block-chain. It allows you to view supported block-chain information from a transaction ID. It provides more data than your typical crypto exchange including resources such as hashes, gas and raw data. All from the browser.
Block-Finder does not cache any requests or responses it shows, but if a 3rd party is queried within the transaction they may provide a cached response.
How does Block-Finder work?
It is very simple to use Block-Finder. Enter your transaction ID / transaction hash in the search bar above and search. This will take you to a data page where you may view transaction data, receipt data and block data. Behind the scenes, Block-Finder will query our backend server which also may interact with 3rd parties for some records.
There are limited record sets supported so far. Currently, the only supported block-chain is ETHERIUM.
Use cases for Block-Finder
There are a wide variety of situations where this tool may be useful. For example, checking the validility of a transaction and its data from within the block-chain. Block-finder provides a fast, simple solution with no gimics or extras to viewing the data.
When a transaction is in progress, and hashes can change. This can be viewed in real time via our tool.
There are of course many reasons for using Block-Finder, whether this be for simple transaction amount lookups or exporting to csv for the more tech savy.
